Who We Are

MY Sisters Success of North Carolina, Inc, was founded in 1999, grew out of the need that without proper attire and skills, it could be difficult to get a job.  This can be an intimidating obstacle for low-income women trying to enter the job market.  Based on information from the local Employment Security Commission office in 1999, 5,431 low-income women registered and were referred for jobs.  A high percentage of these women did not get the job because they did not have the proper clothes to wear.  

MSS OF NC INC, is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) referral based organization assisting disadvantaged women and men with entering or returning to the workforce.  

Services

Classes/workshops - covering an array of interviewing and job retention skills.

Professional advisors - help clients in handling various issues related to finances, family relations, and physical/emotional balance.

Job referral program - helps women find suitable employment.

Professional attire - available at no charge to client.

   
The purpose of MSS, NC Inc, is to provide women and men with the necessary tools to enter the workforce, increase self-esteem and become self-sufficient.  With your support, this goal is obtainable.
